Audio Video Driver for Inspiron 1525
Hi All,
I recently formatted my inspiron 1525 laptop and installed XP professional.
i installed all drivers by downloading it from dell site.
Even after installed Graphics driver for Mobile Intel GM965 and sigmatel audio driver am getting a driver not detected symbol in device manager.
I am able to hear sound when I play songs.
For audio driver , I did other suggestions found on internet forums like install system driver then chipset then finally audio driver etc… nothing worked out for me…
Finally I have installed R180043 and R180044 also…
Regarding Display drivers I have installed GM965 drivers downloaded from dell site.
There were 4 error popup while installed stating some .dll file image is not valid.
I tried to uninstall it but its not uninstalling too… shows error messages and terminates the process.
Any software that requires the graphics driver are not working too…..

It goes over details on what drivers should be installed and in the order that they are installed.

From your post I would look to see if the chipset drivers and dell notebook system software was installed.
