?Broken Laptop

Hi,

Just after some advice about my laptop. Its a Dell Inspiron 5150 (about 4 years old). I turned it on today and it was fine... only to come back 5 minutes later and it powered down like it had run out of battery. I realised the power cord was not connected properly, so I connected it properly and tried to turn the computer on. It didn't turn on. The green light on the chord and transformer is on so I think that is working fine. When I press the power on button the battery light flashes orange four times and then green once. It does this 5 times and then stops flashing. I took the battery out to try and run it on power only, but this didn't work.

Do you think its the PSU that is broken? Can these be replaced? If so, how much?

Try reseating the memory module(s).  If that does nothing, it's most likely the system board is faulty.
