Can I backup the RECOVERY partition of my XPS M1530?

My XPS M1530 has a 10GB recovery partition.

It's very very valueable ! I had to re-install Windows Vista a couple of times and it's very fast and handy (no need to swap the various Dell cd's).

I really would like to take a backup of this partition so I can re-create it down the line if needed.

Does anyone have a similar need ?

I thought of Acronis TrueImage so I can create an image (low level, that includes absolutely everything on the partition , including hidden and system files).

But  I have not used this pgm before and I am not sure I want to spend money on it right now.

Unfortunately, I have Vista Home premium.

I wish I had vista ultimate.

It may not have all the bells and whistles of it's commercial counterpart, but HD Clone is a FREE program similar to ATI (Acronis True Image) :smileyhappy:
