DELL M5030 WILL BEEP 7 TIMES, BUT DOES NOT TURN ON. HELP.
I bought a used Dell m5030 (My mistake, i should have done more research on this laptop). It's a little over a years old. I've owned this laptop for ONLY LESS THAN 3 WEEKS.
Unfortunately, it happened to have the common beep problem a few days ago. Please help.
How could I fix it? I know that the 7 beeps means for processor or motherboard failure? Could I just buy a new mother board and fix this? Or will I need a new processor?
I have important data in my hard drive but I don't know how to take out the data and put it into my other laptop.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.
PS. Warranty expired a month after I received this laptop, so I can't have dell assistance.

Well my M5030 went toes up yesterday with the seven beeps. Five months out of warranty. Thx Dell!!! This is my second Dell product that has totally failed in the last 8 months...both less than 2 yrs. old. Won't be purchasing any Dell products in the near future.
