DELL XPS L501X ADAPTER

Hello,

I have a Dell XPS L501X laptop. I enjoyed using it during the last 3 years.

Lately I had AC adapter issues so I ordered a new one from a local Dell retailer.

My original AC adapter was:

PA-3E FAMILY
MODEL - EA90PE1-00
OUTPUT - 19.5V - 4.62A
The new AC adapter I just got is:
PA-3E FAMILY
MODEL - LA90PE1-01
OUTPUT - 19.5V - 4.62A
Can I use it safely?
According to  - http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/corporate/environ/comply/ac_adapter_information.pdf , the following adapters should be suitable for
XPS™ 15 - P11F001

Astec: EA90PE1-XX;

Delta: DA90PE0-..; DA90PE1-..; DA90PE2-..; DA90PE3-..; DA130PE1-...;

Flextronics: FA90PM10A-..; FA90PE2-..; FA90PE3-..; FA130PE1-..;

HiPro: HA90PE0-..; HA90PE1-..;

LiteOn: LA90PE0-..; LA90PE1-.

What is the difference between LiteOn and Delta?

Thanks for your help

Hi Shadyha,

The new adapter which you have purchased is compataible with the laptop, so you can go ahead and use it.

I have a Dell XPS 15 (don't know which specific one), and I was using the LA90PE1-01 adapter (90W). Which one is suitable for me please? Thank you in advance!
