Dell DF047 Inspiron 9400 E1705 Motherboard

My Dell Inspiron 9400 E1705 suddenly did not work. Computer tech examined it and informed me that mothrboard was faulty. So I searched for Dell spare parts and found TXcess Surplus internet store. They have 2 motherboards for my laptop : Dell DF047 Inspiron 9400 E1705 Motherboard, System board for 80$ and Dell Inspiron 9400 E1705 Laptop Motherboard, Dell WX413 for 100$. Can somebody tell me the difference between these motherboards and how to contact Dell about similar issues (compatibility of spare parts), because my laptop was bought in Europe and warranty expired long ago. thanks for any help.

DELL  Motherboards C2290, F7372, Y4694, DF047, TM2828

Some versions will have integrated video and others will not.

You should not try changing numbers or you may likely get a board that will not work in the end.

Dell part number: FF055, or compatible GR640

Please check your existing motherboard's part number before ordering, as there are several different motherboards for 9400/e1705 systems. This particular motherboard has on-board integrated video, it will NOT accept the Nvidia or ATI video cards. This is to be used as a replacement motherboard for 9400/e1705 systems with on-board integrated video.

Thank you for your answer, I found that my motherboard is of DF047 type. But as only HDD, display, keyboard, processor and case remain,  (integrated video), is it relevant, which type of spare motherboard should I buy, only if it have on-board integrated video. Is it maybe Dell Inspiron 9400 E1705 Laptop Motherboard, Dell WX413, see link : www.txcesssurplus.com/.../Detail, or should I ask for DF047 motherboard
