Dell - Geoblocking and Payment Filtering
Congratulations Dell - I think you have finally defeated me as a customer.
I have tried absolutely every possible way to purchase a laptop from you guys over the last month, at my extra expense, at my extra risk, and your company has successfully kept them locked away in a vault thanks to your international sales policy.
I'm an Aussie - living overseas. Straight away - I am screwed, infact every single person in this scenario ( an expat ) is screwed - as now it is impossible to purchase a laptop from another country's Dell website - using any form of International or other country Billing address.... ever....Great move.
Secondly, the Middle Eastern Website is virtually non existent. There are no Authorized resellers in the country I'm in, and there is no option to purchase any Alienware laptops online at all.
Thirdly, thanks for blocking 3rd party purchasing firms such as MYUS.com, who make a business out of helping clients like me, who need help, thanks to your billing Policy
What a 30th century concept - a website that actually sells stuff to consumers who want the stuff, and looks after their customers by posting it in the mail.
I'm sure someone is going to ask me..... why don't you buy a laptop from the australian Dell online, with my Australian Billing address..... well I tried that too, For some unforeseen act of wizdom, they only sell Macbook sized laptops... 13 and 15 inches, and I need the 17R2!
