Dell Inspiron 6000 Inverter

Hi,

I took my problem laptop to a Pro, he decided as inverter problem, replaced with the one he has but then I still have the same old issue with the screen getting dim were page can be viewed in the background, so started searching online and found to my interest inverters go with the part numbers and have to be replaced with the exact part numbers.

So wanted to confirm, does the inverters have to be replaced with the exact part number as the Pro to whom I took didn't replace the inverter with the exact part number.

An also can some one help me in getting the Inverter part # PWB-IV11145T/N4-E-LF.

Thankyou,

Nalinikalyan.

If the inverter didn't solve the problem, you need the bulb replaced, or you have a mainboard issue, not an inverter problem.

Thanks for the reply but I'm curious to know whether the Inverter should be of the same part number of the replaced one, so that the next step would be determining it's the back tube or the motherboard problem?

Thankyou,

Nalinikalyan.

The inverter needs to be the exact same part you had, yes.

They are not interchangeable between models of screen.

Yes-- exact same part number. Hope that helps.
