Dell Inspiron
I'm 70 years old and not quite computer savvy. I have plenty of room (space) on my C drive but no space left on the D drive. There's a red line through it and the drive is labeled 'Recovery'. To gain space I'm supposed to delete unwanted files. As far as I'm concerned, as long as the C drive is fine why can't I delete the things on the D drive. The computer won't let me delete the two files on the drive.
How can I delete the files on the D drive? What is the function of the D drive? I didn't put anything on the D drive, knowingly that is!
Can someone help me with this problem?
Thanks,
davidallensandler

Recovery is just that. So that you can restore your laptop to From-the-Factory condition should you get infected with malware etc.
