Dell Latitude D531 VGA connection port fault

Hi there,

I have a fault on this laptop - when you connnect an external monitor, nothing happens until the plug is pushed upwards (the correct output settings are activated through F8). I took it apart and the connections from the VGA plug onto the motherboard seem to be making and breaking (you can see an air gap when you wiggle it and when it is pushed upwards, the pins sit down on the motherboard) . Does anyone know if this is a replacement part and its just a case of getting a new connector which pushes tight again to the motherboard or have the connections snapped and its knackered.
