Dell precision M60 graphic card died
Hello everyone,
I have a dell precision m60 and last week the graphics card broke.
Does anyone know if there are alternatives for the Quadro fx go1000?
Because dell does not deliver them anymore.
So now I need an alternative. I already googled on it but I can't find a replacement.
Thanks.

Hi PaulKeizer,
Welcome to Dell community!
Precision M60 was offered with the following video cards:
ATI Radeon 9000 32MB Video Card - Part # 8X960
nVidia Quadro FX Go700 128MB Video Card - Part # 9Y024
nVidia Quadro FX Go1000 128MB Video Card - Part # P1937
If you are from the USA, you may contact our Dell Spare Parts sales team @ 1-800-372-3355 to check the availability of the video cards.
Do let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello,
I am not from the USA.
And i called dell support in the netherlands, and they told me that this cards are not available anymore from dell.
So I hoped I can get an alternative.

You can try EBay but bear in mind that this series of cards was well known for the defective nVidia chips - the numbers of them out there will be rapidly dwindling, and even buying one is a big gamble because they all eventually fail.
It may be time to consider a replacement system rather than throwing money at what will be at best a temporary fix for this one.
If you DO want to keep using the system, go for the ATI 9000 card - it won't be as fast but at least it will run reliably.
