Doubt on Inspiron 6000 Audio
Hi,
I have recently ordered for a Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop. I have a weird doubt. While I customize my order, I had to select some Audio Card with my Laptop... like Sound Blaster. Does this mean that the original Inspiron 6000 has no Audio card and we can't hear any sound if we dont purchase the Sound blaster?

It will come with an integrated sound system. That means there is an audio chip on the motherboard and there are jacks in the computer's case for plugging in a microphone and headphones(or external speakers). This integrated system takes the place of a soundcard which would be too big to put in a laptop computer. Also there are speakers inside the case.
The Soundblaster they offer is an external soundcard which would be an upgrade in quality over the integrated system. If you get the external system you would also get the integrated one and you can use either one.
