Hi,

I have a problem with my dell inspiron n5110 , when i start it it make 5 loud beeps, keep repeating it, but once logged in windows, the sound become quiet, but it remains.

I used the test utility that exist in the menu of the boot (when pressing F12) and all tests are  passed.

I hope someone can help me about this.

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. 5 beeps on an Inspiron N5110 means a CMOS Battery Failure. If you have an Active Warranty, send me a Private Message, click on my user name, add me as a friend, and send me your Name, Service Tag, Phone Number and Address.

Thank you.

Hi,

As per our Training Manual 5 beeps means a CMOS battery failure. Check the below link for beep codes on a Dell Laptop.
