In sprion 1300 Gray screen
Pretty sure this screen is shot. The moment you turn it on its a gray color, and has some blueing creeping in lower right corner. But is there a way to make sure its not mobo or video card? Plugging in an external monitor works fine (does that rulew out video card?) Thanks

It's not the mainboard/video chip if the external monitor is OK -- the system doesn't have a video card, though.
The LCD panel needs repair or replacement.

Thanks husly, thats what I thought. What is really odd, after reading a few posts, I took my fingers and pincged the screen in the corners and it fixed it!!!! Not sure how long it will last but it was truly odd.
