Inspiron 1200 Takes forever to boot up !

I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 Laptop running Xp SP2. From the time I press the power button till the time I can actually use the computer, about 4 mins pass. I am running AVG 7.5, Spyware Blaster and Spybot S & D, so I don't beleive I have a virus. I ran AVG to scan for viruses and nothing was found. What else could be causing this ? On startup I have the most basic programs loading. :smileysad:

That is one major problem. Since you lose part of the RAM to video, you don't have enough - XP needs 512M of its own, above and beyond video, to perform tolerably. Add a 1G soDIMM - it'll make a world of difference.
