Inspiron 1525 network adapter not configured/installed after reinstalling Vista

After reinstalling Vista, my network adapter is not installed and configured.  I've reloaded both the applications disk and the drivers and utilities disk.  I received no other disks with the laptop.  Any help is appreciated -
