Inspiron 1545 Battery: Plugged in not charging
I have had my laptop for around 8months. The original charger broke so I brought a new one , for the first 2weeks the charger was fine but now it says plugged in but not charging. The laptop dosent lose charge but doesnt gain, just wondering if anyone knows any solutions?

Go to BIOS and check if the AC Adpt is detected.
Is the New one a Dell charger ?
Update BIOS and Quickset application from the support site.

Bought a new adapter of ebay (dell marked), plugged-in and restarted and the battery is now charging.
