Inspiron 8200 Shutdown when running on battery with battery charged
My 8200 lasts only 5 minutes on battery mode and then says to save files and shut down.
It starts 100% charged then very quickly (minutes) goes to 50% and says save and shutdown.
Help please.

It isn't the battery. I get the same response (shutdown) if I use a different battery, or if I use two batteries or if I use one battery in the other bay.

Still sounds like all your batteries are on their way out. Only real way to know is to try a brand new battery and see what happens.
