EBAY.

It won't be much for an 1150.

With over 30,000 posts (through early 2007), Rickmktg hasn't bought a Dell computer since July 2005, but has bought two Lenovo laptops...

Re: Inspiron Resale Value

You can reach the broadest buyer base on ebay. Just keep in mind that the Nigerian offers are usually several thousand dollars too high, and they expect you to cheerfully refund the excess. You can do a search for "Inspiron 1150" on ebay and you'll get an idea of what they are selling for. Ignore the listings without active bids; a lot of those are wishful thinking. Good luck!

If you're not in a hurry, consider posting the sale on Craigslist.  It's free and since you're dealing with local buyers there are no shipping hassles, nor Ebay/Paypal fees.  I've sold several things that way.  I usually list it for 2 weeks or so and if I get no inquiries then I post it on Ebay.
