Installation of Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module - Dell Inspiron 1440

You can find instructions on installing the Bluetooth card here from the user's manual.

The socket where the Bluetooth card is connected is above the system board instead of below it. So unfortunately it requires removing the keyboard and palm rest to be able to install.  I have not heard otherwise so I assume the socket will be live even if the Bluetooth module wasn't ordered at time of purchase.

Hi Terry,

Yes, your information was very helpful.  The BT module is now snapped into the board, but I think I need a nice gold plated screw on the left side to ground it.  Here are before and after pix.

I agree, there should be a securing screw for the wireless card.  I would have to research it but I believe that a screw should be included with the Bluetooth card. Was the card purchased directly from Dell or from another Vendor?
