Latitude E6220 Touchpad and Keyboard issues

I just recently bought a refurbished Latitude E6220.

The keyboard and touchpad failed in the same time after 5 min. After rebooting, a few times it gave the error message: that keyboard is not present. Once it's loaded again w touchpad and keyboard, they work fine for a while, but now both are failing in the same time, after ~10-15 min. External mice is working, but to get back the keyboard, I have to restart the laptop. Quite annoying. Any thought how to fix this?

Contact support. If it is still under warranty, you should be able to get it fixed. Make sure to get your personal information off the harddrive if you have to send it in. The only thing that you might check is the keyboard and touchpad connections, but this may void your warranty. Check before you do that.
