I have a Dell Latitude D600 with Windows XP Professional and my touch pad is not functioning at all.
Has anyone had this same problem? Can somebody please advise me on a solution or what needs to be done to correct this problem?

Actually it hasn't worked for about a few months now and I've been using a mouse. I am starting to get frustrated with the mouse and decided to ask for help. Can you help?
If you haven't done anything else to the laptop, try re-installing the Synaptics software.
