PRECISION M6400 - SLOW ALMOST STANDING STILL

Hi Guys, urgently need help from anyone out there please!  Never posted before, so don't know what you need.

Ran Highjackthis from trend micro if anyone out there can analyze this? I'm on a deadline to finish project and machine, after fresh Dell OEM 32bit Win7 Prof reinstall, and almost no programs loaded, with nearly empty primary hdd, falling over it is so slow - CPU usage hovering between 96 and 100% while just idling, no programs open!  Log from Highjack this below - any help suggestions will be appreciated:
