Power Jack port not working
I know I need a new battery, but even without it, I should still be able to charge the laptop. When you plug it in, it flickers then nothing. So, I'm assuming the power jack port has died. How do I fix this? And, if dell can fix it, how much will this cost???

Dell will simply replace the mainboard. That will run $300 or more.
You may be able to replace just the jack - if it's cabled/socketed. On other systems it requires soldering. No way to know without knowing what model your system is.
