Problem with my Advanced Port replicator for my D610

Recently, I am having trouble with my port replicator. When I dock the laptop, I am getting power and it is charging the battery, but none of the peripherals are working (printer). Also the status lights are not lit up, although I have confirmed power. Could it me a connector issue or the laptop not seating properly? What else can I try?
