Synaptics magically gone?

I've updated it from the drivers from dell. And everything is gone(when I go to touchpad/mouse additional settings the synaptics options are all gone), and my touch pad is permanently on.(I use a mouse) And I can not delete the driver because I can not find it in device manager/program files.
