I found it useful !

But,I want a Genuine Windows 8 OEM DVD from Dell.

I have Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium DVD (Sealed) which came with my Laptop.

Is there any Offer from Dell ?

Also,What's the price of Windows 8 ?

Dell supports only the OS that was shipped with the system.  You can purchase an upgrade to Windows 8 just about anywhere.

Windows 8 upgrade lists for $120;  Windows 8 Pro is $200.

There was a low-cost upgrade option for a while after Windows 8 was released.

If you really want Windows 8,  you may want to wait a bit - this summer, MS will reportedly be releasing Windows 8 "Blue" - some have called it 8.1 -- and given the dismal sales for Windows 8 so far, they may well institute the low-cost upgrade price again.

Hi HS505,

Thank you for the reply.

@ ejn63: thank you for the inputs; appreciate it

I did some research on Windows 8.1. Although, there is no official release from Microsoft regarding Windows 8.1. However, there are some 3rd party websites talking about it’s release in June 2013.

Please feel free to reply for any questions. I will be glad to assist.

Thanks & Regards

Note many people are unhappy with the changes in Windows 8 (especially the removal of features from Windows 7). This is partly the reason for such dismal sales.
