Vostro 3460 - Need Fingerprint Reader Software

Hi Barry,

Install the sensor driver using the link mentioned below:

After installing the sensor driver download and install DigitalPersona Fingerprint Software which is available at “My Dell Downloads” website.

Open the website in Internet Explorer (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome will not work), login using your email address and password that you used for registering in Dell website. Follow the on-screen instructions and the website will prompt you for running a plugin, this will analyze your computer system service tag and list the applications which can be installed. Locate the DigitalPersona Fingerprint Software in the list, select the software and click download. Once the download finishes click install and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

After clicking "Register System" nothing happens. The page just stits there. No plugin prompt appears.

I would suggest you to reset Internet Explorer (IE) by following the steps on Microsoft Article. Please click the link mentioned below to open the article:

This didn't solve anything. Can I please just be directed to the software I need to download, without having to jump through hoops?
