"Battery Charging Disabled"

I am currently at 0% percent on my battery and when I hover the mouse over the battery icon it tells me that the battery is not charging even though I have it plugged in. I can't turn my computer on unless it is plugged in. I just got my computer yesterday, and I have no idea what is wrong with it.

HELP!

Good Morning

Thank you for contacting the community.

1.  Can you remove the battery and re-seat it.

2.  If this doesnt work, power on > tap F2 > and go to AC Adapter info, and see if the battery is seen in the system or charging.

3.  Do you have any swaps, known good batteries that you can test in your machine?

Please let us know how you get on.

Regards

Kevin
