EMC Open Migrator 3.12 - Unable to Attach Server
Hey guys,
I am unable to see the server listed when I try to "attach server" on EMC Open Migrator for Microsoft 2003 - 32 bit.
Why is this the case?

To resolve this issue you will need to open component services>my computer>DCOM config “make sure to sort by details” and locate application name “EMC Open Migrator/LM Server” select properties and then select security tab and add your user ID to all three options and selecting allow on all available check boxes. This will resolve the access denied error.

There does not appear to be a known issue in the EMC KB related to connecting to server.
Is the client and server installed on the same machine? If not, have you been through the section "Configuring the service for remote access" in the product guide? There are firewall and permissions considerations in this section that need to be addressed.
