Black monitor screen, blinking light
My monitor suddenly is black when I turn on the computer and won’t display anything. The power button on the monitor is constantly blinking as well. I know the monitor works because when It’s not plugged into the computer, it displays the box. The cable worked with other monitors as well. Is this a problem with the computer?

What video ports are you using on the PC and the monitor to connect?
Just because the monitor "displays the box" doesn't mean it's working. Can you test it on a different PC or a different monitor on this PC?
What color is the PC's power button when you don't see anything on the monitor, and is it steady or blinking?
