Can an Inspiron 2330, running windows 10, have teh hard drive upgraded to to a SSD?

Hi everyone,

I have an Inspiron 2330, all-in-one desktop.

It runs windows 10 home ok but frequently seems slow.

Is it possible to upgrade to a solid state hard drive?

It currently has i5-3330S CPU @ 2.7Ghz
8.00 installed Ram (7.88 GB usable)
64 Bit operating system x64 based processor

Touch support with 10 points

931 GB HD with 886 used.

Thank you very much.

I don't see why not.

Swap the 3.5inch SATA spinning HDD for a 2.5inch SATA SSD. It should be much faster.

See page 43 in the manual.

It's hard to tell from the pics ... if the cage has holes for 2.5inch drive or if you need a $5 form-factor adapter.

It's here:

Let us know how it goes.

A 240gb SATA-3/600 SSD would be minimum. I like Kingston, Samsung, and Intel. You can spend more for bigger if you want, but if you need more than 512gb ... I would probably save the money and just connect a spinning-HDD via USB for media-files and what-not.
