Dell Inspiron 3671-psu upgrade?

Im looking to upgrade my psu in my Dell Inspiron 3671. Would like to add in a graphics card gtx1650 super?? 2x 16gb sticks of ram, a 1-2 tb 2.5" ssd for storage and a 1tb NVMe ssd as well as keep the original 3.5" hdd for storage, Im thinking 500-600 watt psu would be more than enough.

Is there a good aftermarket psu that will fit in the tower? Links would be greatly appreciated.

There are ZERO aftermarket units that drop in and work.

Its not a standard power supply.

It sits on the bottom which is not standard.

It uses proprietary 8 pin connection so it may be similar to 9020 or 3670 power supply.

@DELL-Chris M   might have more information.

For your configuration Dell stock psu 365W gold is more than enough.

use online psu calculator, assuming i7-9700, GTX 1660Ti (which has higher TDP than 1650S), you only need 360W.  Dell has got you covered.

Inspiron 3671 and 3670 motherboard both have Dell proprietary 8 pin ATX connector, which appears to be identical in pinout to optiplex 3020/7020/9020.

If you still want to upgrade to third party psu of 500-600w, now that user has verified psu for 7020 works for 3670/3671, you can order a standard ATX psu (see dimensions below) with 24 pin plus a 24 pin to 8 pin adapter for 7020.

@redxps630

Standard power supply wont work in 3671.

Removing power supply unit

Installing power supply unit

Its bad advice to tell someone that something works without checking to see if it works.

The Moddiy Adapter Does not take into account the other connectors on that unit.

I do not know what the part number is for this specific 365w unit but I know its not standard mounting because it sits in the bottom of the case.

@DELL-Chris M would have better information. Sitting outside the case would be the only option.

Thank you for the link for this upgraded power supply from this eBay vendor. See pictures below from my factory installed one and the new one that just came from this vendor. Notice the "E" in the Dell logo. I'm wondering if this is a knockoff and not genuine?

I think the label is genuine.  the top one is by Huntkey and the bottom by Acbel.  both are Dell oem psu manufacturers.  the E in Dell can use different design among different OEM makers.
