Inspiron 24-5477 AIO, replacing HDD with an SSD?

I want to replace the HDD in my AIO 5477 but am confused about the various types available.  According to a Google search one is the 'normal' type enclosed in a metal casing and another looks like a strip of printed circuit board.  Without tearing into the machine is there any way to tell which I have?  And,  what is the physical size of the non-printed circuit one?

Thank you.

See the service manual for an inside view of your model.

Remember that AIO's have a motherboard that is more similar to a laptop board than a desktop's.
