Inspiron 3650, GPU upgrade, ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini

I have a Dell Inspiron 3650 that came with a 6th gen i5 and an Nvidia GT 730 GPU. Whilst the graphics card is pretty good for most low-spec games, it becomes a problem when you want to play the more demanding titles. I've been looking at getting an upgrade for a while now, but of course, the 240w PSU and the physical case size are very limiting. One of my friends recommended this ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini to me, but I'm not sure if the PC will be able to work with it. Does anyone know if the PSU/case would be able to support it?

Thanks.

Re: Dell Inspiron 3650 GPU Upgrade

All video cards will mention the minimum power supply requirement and measurements. Look it up online at the card's web site. There are very few cards that can run on a 240w psu. The ones that can run are probably the same as your card. See the specs for your card here--

It says 300w psu is the minimum. And you cannot upgrade the psu. see this

Keep what you have until you can upgrade to a gaming model.
