Inspiron 3668 or Vostro 3470

How does the Vostro line of computers compare to the Inspiron. Dell has an 8th generation vostro 3470 but it looks like its very new as I can't find any reviews on it. The Inspiron 3668 is still 7th generation but didn't know if I'd notice the speed difference, I'm thinking the Inspiron has been out longer and may be more reliable. The max ram I'd put in either would be 16gigs so both would be fine there.

Thanks,
Chris

The Vostro line is simply a cosmetically altered Inspiron -- there's no real substantive difference.  If you're in the market for a low cost, basically non-upgradable desktop appliance, either will work.

Just cosmetic, hmm it allows twice the ram 32 gigs and is 8th gen chip so much faster.

They are clones of each other. Vostro is for businesses and that enhanced support-channel.

I didn't know they were still selling Vostro.

Then those two models aren't a direct match.

You will have to compare them like you would any other two models.
