Inspiron 3847, rubber feet for bottom of tower?

I'm uncertain how these feet are stuck in the bottom.  It seems as though the are slotted in some way, but cannot seem to keep them from sliding around.  Cannot see them all that well from the inside.  I'm guessing they slide in and then some glue was used to keep them in place.

Also, one is really bad, and need another to replace it but cannot find the item in the Dell Components document.  Is there another place to find these new?  Or I'll have to start looking for used ones.

Thanks, Max

Your are probably have to be creative and make up a fix yourself. Consider looking around the hardware dept--thick rubber washers, felt pads, mouse pads--you get the idea. What kind of surface is the computer on? Maybe add something there--but something safe-- not anything like carpet, I don't think there has ever been replacement feet for computers. Good luck.

The internal Inspiron 3847 parts page list part number 5HD8H = Rubber foot. It is applicable for all of the following Dell model PCs but it is not available for sale.
Inspiron 3646/3647/3847/660S
Vostro 270S/3800/3900/3900G/3901/3902
Optiplex 3010/3020/5055

You would have to search for part 5HD8H from an online 3rd party seller of used Dell equipment.

That's one way to get brand new feet on your PC.  :Stickouttongue:

DELL 5HD8H, $1.99 each, here. Caveat: I know zero about this web site.

Any place selling them will want you to buy 1000 pieces.

3M™ Bumpon™  SJ5023 might be a better way to go.
