Inspiron 5675, GPU and PSU compatibility?
Looking to upgrade GPU to a 1070 or 1080, could I just use my current 460W PSU and use a 6 to 8 pin adapter or would I need to buy a new power supply? Additionally can I use any GPU and PSU( if needed new PSU) off Amazon for example, which would fit, or would I have to buy these items from Dell themselves? thanks in advance.

No one can help without knowing what model system you have. I'd be very wary of installing a 1070 or 1080 in most Dell systems of recent vintage - particularly if the system has a small case.

I'd like an answer to this too. I just got a 5675 with a 460 PSU. I have a 1080 (in a system who's MB is dead) that I'd like to use but I dont think it will work as the recommended power supply is a minimum of 600. I also have a XFX PRO 850 PSU in that dead system that I could use in this Dell, IF its compatible. Anyone?

The Thermal Take Smart Series actually fits the case perfectly and requires no modification. I have the 500w model installed in my computer and it's a big improvement over the old psu as the old one was noisy.
Here is the link to the psu: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014W3EM2W/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?pd_rd_i=B014W3EM2W&th=1

Alright since I have been reading through the messages about the PSU compatibility and I have call the dell support about upgrading the PSU and they said I can literally upgrade it with any kind of PSU and I am looking into upgrading it from a 460w to 850w PSU but my concern is that is there a specific one and which brand I should buy because they said I can just buy any 850w PSU. So if anyone can tell me which is a good PSU for the Inspiron 5675 because am very confused
Thank you.

850W? Unless you are going to run two video cards, that's overkill. According to the poster above, the thermaltake PSU's should fit without requiring you to grind/cut the case. You won't have the system status LEDS, but that's fine.
Also, the 850W power supply that dell offers is modular I believe, which can be another issue.
