Inspiron 5675 upgrade help

I currently have a rx560, A10 9700 CPU, and a Dell 0XFRWW motherboard.

My mom bought me this PC pre-built and I was looking in to making a bit faster to enjoy games with frineds.

I've been looking for a new CPU and have been doing a lot of research but, I'm still not 100% on how to upgrade to a new one. I know the Dell doesn't support 2nd gen ryzens due to BIOS but that hasn't really gotten me anywhere.

- Please help, Thanks

These shipped with first-generation Ryzen CPUs - the R5-1400, R7-1700, etc.  Those should work.

More RAM might improve its performance too. How much RAM do you have now?

This system has only 2 RAM slots, but supports up to 16 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz RAM in each slot. It supports these RAM configs: Total RAM: 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 24 GB, and 32 GB

Thanks for the help, really.

I tried a R5 1600 but it didn't work when I ran it and my BIOs was up to date. How would I go about make sure that the 1st Gen CPU I pick will for sure work. Or is just a bit or miss?

There are two versions of the R5-1600 -- the original Zen and the AF (Zen Plus).  I suspect only the original one will work with these system boards.

I really appreciate the help but just one more question. Is this the Zen Ryzen 5 1600 ? It say AE in the model number but I wanted to be 100% sure
