43 days and counting for Dell to make a repair on my G5. Any advice for me?

It's been a Dell customer service nightmare.  4 wasted hours on the phone, 40 minutes on chat, and 5 unanswered emails later, and a Tweet or 2. Plus, many, many broken promises that Dell will get back to me.  And 43 DAYS without my laptop.
