My Inspiron started randomly crashing (BSOD/reboot) sometime in Jan.. It'll do it whenever it feels like, but usually watching a youtube or twitter video.. Other times it'll crash at the desktop.. Most crashes are "Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal" but sometimes it's "Attempted Execute of Non Executable" "Clock watchdog timeout" and "System Service Exception"... To solve these, I've tried all the driver updates and system/hardware tests and checks.. Nothing worked to solve it. Then I reinstalled (System Reset) both from the HD recovery and from a downloaded image.. Still with the random bsod's?? (I've got a dozen or more crash.dmp files on the cloud if anyone wants to look?)
It is safe to assume this is probably a hardware failure of some kind at this point? TIA, Mick
I won't hold your feet to the fire. Just looking for opinions.. :Geeked:
Would resetting the laptop with the factory image (and also from downloaded image) rule out software as the cause of these bsod?
