7706 2in1 crashing in standy with BIOS 1.19 and Windows 11 if docked

Hi,

I have the issue that my 7706 2in1 crashed in standby if docked to my WD19TB. It worked fine with 1.18 and older Windows 11 but today it failed.

I can see error 41 and 6008 in the Event Log. I hope somebody of Dell Support can report this error or tell me how officially I can open an incident...

Regards,

Nils

Hi,

it is the new NVIdea driver delivered by Dell. It seems not tested well for modern sleep support...installed the newest driver from Nvidea Homepage and everything is running fine again. Will stay on the newest driver now and will ignore Dell Updates for Graphics...

Cheers,

Nils

Try rebooting the computer first before reporting it. See this--

Hi. Firmware Version is 1.90. Wrote a wrong number.

I did not use the laptop. It crashed in Standby and I have to press the power button for 10s to get it running again. So it seems not directly linked. It is a mess that it is not working for months, with 1.8 it worked and now it is broken again…. (I linked it to the firmware but perhaps it is a driver issue there is no information available…)
