Add Boot Option - File System Not Found

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7567) laptop that has been having issues recently. I ran diagnostics and it took me to a page to order a new hard drive. I ordered the hard drive and installed it but now when I try to start the computer I get 'No Bootable Device Found' with only a 'Shutdown' option available. From looking online, I found a thread where someone named 'getro' went through how to deal with this issue (the thread was called 'Inspiron 13, No bootable device found'). The first step was to go to BIOS Setup to the Boot Sequence and click 'Add Boot Option'. However, whenever I do this, I get an alert that says 'File System Not Found'. How do I solve this? Or, if that thread's solution isn't applicable to my computer or my situation, how do I deal with 'No Bootable Device Found'? Thanks.

As Mary said you'll have to clean install windows 10 I have linked a Video and Dell support page on Reset or Reinstall, since your original drive failed you'll have to clean install.

You have a blank (empty) hard drive now. You must boot to installation media to install windows. To make installation media use the Create media tool here and follow the directions

Thanks for the help! So to be clear, I need to create a Windows 10 USB boot drive (using another PC), plug the USB into my device, then run a Windows 10 system restore. Is that correct?

if you need step by step you might consider having a professional do this for you.

I will link a further Tutorial on how to clean install windows 10 https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-clean-install-windows-10-a.html

Tips

You do want to install in UEFI mode

You will boot F12 the select UEFI USB to boot your install media.

You will have to look in your BIOS and see if your set to have your SATA set to RAID or AHCI this matters as if your set up for RAID you'll have to install the IRST drive during the install for the install to see your new hard drive/SSD
