Battery problem

Hi. I am from the Philippines but my laptop dell inspiron 3542 was bought from the US last 2016. My laptop has no problem until 2019. It's working good. But when I checked and used it after 1month of not using it, my battery was not functioning at all. And it says NO BATTERY DETECTED. What am I gonna do? Is my battery has to be change or expired?
