Battery stop Charging-Dell laptop turning off itself

Battery has stopped Charging- and laptop is turning off itself.

So what do I do ? I red if the Battery is dead or malfunctioning the Laptop will overheat !
its Dell Inspiron 3520
What % Guarantee do I have if Im able to buy a New replacement Battery and install , that this overheating and turning itself off will not happen again ??

I just tried running this laptop without the Battery in it - Same thing - so it would Not make any difference even if I put a new battery in it !!!!! this really <Profanity removed> - looks like I have to buy a new Laptop !

See if you can run Dell Diagnostics all the way through.
