Can I upgrade laptop 2666 ram to 2400 MHz
I have a dell G3 with 8 gb of 2666 mhz ram. Is it okay if I replace the two sticks with 16 gb of 2400 mhz ram. Since they are a bit slower will the motherboard still accept the new ram? And also if I buy one 16 gb stick of 2666 mhz ram and replace just one 4 gb stick will the two different Brands Work ? I know it won’t be dual channel but I just want to know if it can work?
