DELL G3 3590 SSD upgrade?
I know this isn't related to inspiron but there was no G3 3590 board.
I have a Dell G3 3590 16gb 500gb SSD but was hoping to upgrade the SSD to 1T or more if possible.
Games like COD Modern Warfare are hogging huge amounts of space, but I don't want to be constantly picking through my storage and deleting small unused files.
Excuse my lack of knowledge/experience, but is the SSD upgradable? If so, would any SSD work or are there specific types I would need to buy?
Thanks for any help!

According to the Crucial site here, you can upgrade up to a 2 TB SSD. And you do not need a specific model. The Crucial drive is an example. Others such as WD, Samsung, Adata, and Seagate to name a few would be fine as well.

@samalchin
Why would you want to upgrade the drive you have now?
That's why I asked what drive you have installed.
From your Manual/Specs you can have an M.2 SSD and an HDD/SSD.

Why not just add a 2.5" SSD?
Then you can set up the new SSD as "Default" storage and run your programs from the M.2.

I asked the same thing to the customer service, they answered twice telling me that i can install a 2.5 hdd but not an SSD, any of you guys have an idea of why? as far as i know 2.5 hdd and 2.5 ssd share the same interface, which should be SATA, so I'm really puzzled.

Hello I have bought Dell g3 3590 9th gen i7 in Oct 2019 it has internal 512gb SSD but now my storage is getting full so I am planning for external HDD/SSD so I would like to ask can I go for 2tb HDD or 2tb SSD as external disks or it's limited to only 1Tb HDD/SSD.
