Dell 3542 backlight/backlit keyboard

Hello

I am using a Dell Inspiron 3542 laptop and my non-backlit keyboard died yesterday. I would like to get a backlight keyboard this time. After removing the old keyboard I've found that the motherboard has an empty connector labeled as KBLIT. Is this surely a keyboard backlight connector? Is there a way I can be sure that specifically this keyboard:

and its backlight will work on my laptop?

Joa1101,

That is a keyboard backlight connector. I cannot verify that the keyboard in the images are the correct keyboards since there are no Dell Part Numbers.

Hey did it work ? I mean did the lights turn on after connecting it to the KBLIT port?
