I would match the specification of your current RAM to ensure compatibility. Don't let yourself get excited about fancy RAM you won't notice any difference. You should notice a difference upgrading to 16GB in the long run. it's not going to jump out at you but will be noticeable when you have multiple windows and programs running at the same time.

Any M.2 NVME SSD 2280 should work. m.2 NVME SSD are not created equal. Brand Names do mater. Read Carefully the differences between the brands and models and the Reviews the ones that have real problems will show up in the reviews

To get this information you need to log on to support, enter your model number and most importantly Enter your Service Tag Number.

That will open all the hardware information on your Particular notebook, You should download and read your Service Manual there you will find out how to open your notebook

The section on upgrading your RAM should give you the specification that is suggested for your particular notebook.

Hi,

Did you get any problems with your laptop's hinge.

Mine seems broken even when I take great care of it.

There is not too many options if you try to search by service tag number.

Dell support still didn't replied from one week.

So I just bought  and installed those products and everything is working well. I was just confused the pins.

Thanks!

Yeah unfortunately 1 hinge got broken.

There is about 8-10 small weak hinges so you should be careful about it.

That's  they used very cheap plastic cover.

The CPU and chipset limit your RAM clock to 2666MHz, there is no need to go for higher frequency as they will be running at 2666MHz anyway.

As for SSD, go for mainstream brands' top-level lines like Samsung PRO and WD Black,

Hi,

Did the RAM upgrade give you problems or was it completely compatible?
