Dell G7 7588 C-State limited

How do I get rid of the limit of the C-states that limits the i7-8750h from going into C-States 8-10? For some reason, my CPU has a limit of only allowing up to C7 which is less power efficient that states 8-10. The limit is probably set in the BIOS, but this limit can not be turned off (the only user changeable setting for C-States is turning them on or off completely, which does nothing to solve this problem). Does anybody know why the C-States are limited and if it is possible to get rid of the limitation?
